The Assembly Loop Lab (ALL) is a professional digital production facility within Pratt Institute's Technology Division, serving students, faculty, staff, and a growing roster of external commercial clients. We are building a production environment held to two standards at once: the rigor of a serious academic institution and the reliability of a professional production operation. The Digital Production Manager is central to that effort. This role leads the day-to-day operations of ALL's production facilities: managing student staff, maintaining equipment, driving workflow quality, and ensuring that every job, internal or external, is handled consistently and professionally. It is a leadership position that requires someone who can uphold high standards, communicate clearly with a diverse user base, and take genuine ownership of the systems and protocols that keep the lab running. The right candidate is as comfortable troubleshooting a production failure as they are developing training documentation or onboarding a new team member. They understand that operational discipline and a strong culture of accountability are what make a production environment worth working in and worth building. Beyond daily operations, this role contributes to the lab's long-term development: refining systems, expanding capabilities, and supporting ALL's continued growth as both an academic resource and a commercial operation.
