About The Position

Within Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America Digital Management function, you will be part of a global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience, understanding end-user, customer, and business needs. Utilizing user journeys and design thinking, you will ensure the digital product brings continuous value and optimize it to achieve business goals while maximizing return on investment. You will collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in different business functions and the Community of DTO, in an environment where ideas, thoughts, and opinions can be shared. The team consists of team players with clear common ambitions, working together to achieve success.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Experience from leading functionally, preferably within IT management.
  • Experience from working towards digital product orientation and agile ways of working.
  • Knowledge of information technology trends.
  • Understanding of the cost drivers in systems delivery and operations and the business consequences of the technical decisions made.
  • Good familiarity with the disciplines of enterprise digital development and technical architecture.
  • Passionate believer in lifelong learning.
  • Proven skills in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage, foster, and enable both the perform and the transform angles of the job.
  • Ability to define the right priorities based on a customer centric mindset.
  • Ability to drive business forward and act upon opportunities and ideas and transform them into value (financial, cultural, or social).

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the digital product portfolio supporting People & Culture and Legal processes.
  • Partner closely with People & Culture and Legal stakeholders to translate regulatory and business requirements into prioritized product capabilities.
  • Lead vendor and platform roadmap discussions, assess product fit and technical health, and manage upgrades, releases, service performance, and application rationalization across the People & Culture and Legal landscape.
  • Drive adoption through stakeholder communications, process readiness, training, and change management tailored to employees, people leaders, People & Culture professionals, Legal teams, and other authorized users.
  • Define digital product vision, strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • Regularly collect feedback on implemented work through measures, analytics, and end user input.
  • Ensure the entire user experience is designed with the user at the center and secure the product brings continuous value.
  • Identify dependencies, including on stable teams and individual contributors.
  • Drive planning cycle for product, including roadmap, resource needs and budget required.
  • Ensure digital products fulfill all legal, compliance and security demands.
  • Secure release and roll-out plan, including change management and training approach.
  • Cultivate strong collaboration and teamwork.
  • Represent Group Trucks NA in relevant global forums and projects.
