As a Digital Product Manager Lead within PNC's Digital organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA; Columbus or Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Jacksonville, FL; or Birmingham, AL. As a Digital Product Manager Lead, you will provide product guidance for the Digital Investing Small Enhancements and Platform Support portfolio. This role is responsible for maintaining the health, stability, and continued evolution of the Digital Investing platform by balancing client experience improvements, operational needs, technical requirements, risk remediation, and strategic business priorities. You will work across multiple product and technology teams to drive platform reliability, support production operations, and deliver ongoing enhancements that improve the client experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading digital products in a complex technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development and software delivery practices.
  • Strong product judgment, prioritization, and roadmap management skills.
  • Experience working with engineering, architecture, operations, and risk partners.
  • Ability to translate technical and operational challenges into clear business outcomes.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and operational support.
  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and driving decisions across competing priorities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity while bringing structure, accountability, and focus to a broad portfolio.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap, prioritization, and backlog for platform support and enhancement initiatives.
  • Establish and communicate priorities for production support, platform maintenance, modernization efforts, and smaller feature enhancements.
  • Partner closely with Technology, Architecture, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and UX teams to deliver business value and maintain platform health.
  • Coordinate across Digital Investing product teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Support release planning, production readiness, incident response, and post-release stabilization activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve platform resiliency, scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage competing priorities and make informed product decisions when demand exceeds team capacity.
  • Provide clear communication on deliverables, dependencies, risks, timelines, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure new capabilities are successfully transitioned into long-term operational support models.
  • Executes digital strategy across business segments to optimize digital experience, leveraging design thinking and other best practices.
  • Monitors the marketplace to assess digital experience trends and results in order to recommend new digital experiences or enhancements to existing experiences. Prioritizes and decisions recommendations. Supports business case development.
  • Develops and designs the features of new or existing digital experiences to take advantage of an identified market need or opportunity. Manages the development, production, roll-out or promotion of digital experiences.
  • Partners with key stakeholders including Product, Technology, MIS, Line of Business, Marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders to ensure all digital experiences meet their strategic goals. Participates in product-specific marketing initiatives. May participate in client facing activities. As part of the first line of defense, supports risk management, compliance, and audit needs.
  • Supports business, financial, and customer experience results of digital experiences and effectively recommends modifications in experiences and/or marketing to improve results.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
