About The Position

The Digital Print Operator is responsible for producing specialized projects in accordance with job specifications and company goals. This role involves coordinating the workload schedule to meet time requirements while maintaining quality and productivity standards. The operator will troubleshoot issues, report problems to a supervisor, and collaborate with team members to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Ability to prepare equipment for operations by accessing software in computer.
  • Ability to load paper into printers and plotters.
  • Ability to prepare equipment for output.
  • Ability to receive, prioritize, and print requested documents.
  • Ability to maintain operations by monitoring error and stoppage messages.
  • Ability to observe equipment and correct errors and stoppages.
  • Ability to make adjustments in process.
  • Ability to notify supervisor for additional resources.
  • Ability to document actions and problems by completing production logs.
  • Ability to ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and tests.
  • Ability to follow manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Ability to call for repairs.
  • Ability to maintain supply inventory by checking stock levels.
  • Ability to anticipate needed supplies.
  • Ability to verify receipt of received materials.
  • Ability to complete projects by weighing, counting, and packing items for distribution.
  • Ability to resolve user problems by answering questions and requests.
  • Ability to complete special projects, during and after normal business hours, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains supply inventory by checking stock levels; anticipating needed supplies; verifying receipt of received materials.
