As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Second Shift Digital Press Operator to join our team. As a Second Shift Digital Press Operator at ImageMark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our digital printing operations. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining state-of-the-art digital press equipment to produce a wide range of printed materials, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in digital press operation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality output.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Occasional overtime as needed.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience as a digital press operator in a printing or graphics environment.
  • Knowledge of various print substrates, inks, and finishing techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain digital press equipment, ensuring it runs efficiently and produces high-quality prints.
  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure printed materials meet established standards for color, clarity, and consistency.
  • Load and unload materials onto the press, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on the digital press to keep it in optimal working condition.
  • Coordinate with the production team to schedule and prioritize print jobs to meet deadlines.
  • Identify and address any technical issues or malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Calibrate and adjust printing equipment to maintain color accuracy and consistency.
  • Keep track of consumables and materials in MIS.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
