About The Position

We are actively recruiting for the position of HP 7900 Indigo Digital Press Operator for our plant in Brooklyn, OG. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Friday, 2pm-10pm.

Must be computer savvy (knowledge of file transfers, looks up items, and familiarity with with Adobe Acrobat) and have a willingness to learn in-house programs and systems.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Acute attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Follow machine set-up and shut down procedures properly.
Start machinery and make adjustments when necessary to improve performance.
Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.
Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance as needed.
Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
Make real-time machine adjustments based on the job being processed.
Maintain par inventory levels inks, paper stock, and other consumables.
Communicate with imposition to resolve file issues, rip errors and etc.
Comply with all safety and health regulations.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and free of any safety hazards.
Place finished jobs in correct staging areas.
Update job status as it goes thru the processes until finished.
Perform other duties as assigned, maintenance, ink rebuilds, PIP foil changes, blanket changes etc.
