About The Position

This position functions as a digital press and finishing operator. The role is responsible for executing the daily workflow schedule, quality control, and machine maintenance. This position functions as a rotating position between digital presses and finishing equipment. A high level of product quality is expected from each job, as well as meeting and exceeding production standards. The role also includes working with others in the company to provide the highest level of customer service. This role will also be asked to help other departments when needed. Hours are typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential for more or fewer hours based on workload.

Requirements

Ability to apply basic math concepts (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to occasionally bend, stoop or kneel.
Ability to use hands and arms to type, reach, handle or feel.
Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Help to reach company’s customer service, profit, sales, and growth goals.
Read and clearly understand operation manuals and follow the guidelines set.
Perform job setups, quality checks.
Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
Operate and run print and sign department equipment, as assigned by the supervisor.
Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment.
Meet production standards set for each job and ensure the highest level of quality is achieved.
Follow department operational policies and procedures.
Work in a team environment with other employees to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsible for tracking, organization, and communicating needs of material inventory.
Perform all other duties assigned and those that may be necessary to achieve company and departmental goals.
