This is a part-time role based in St. Louis.

Responsibilities

• Review job ticket instructions to determine requirements of job production.
• Operate Dry Offset printing press for metal decorating.
• Interact with each plant workstation to meet with the supervisor’s timelines and scheduling concerns.
• Assist with color standards.
• Record data into job tickets.
• Interact with SGS graphics personnel on any technical issues which may arise.
• QC work performed in accordance with department SOPs.
• Be responsible for keeping all work areas clean and orderly.
• Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive creative impact on the business.
• Communicate with ink supplier on ink inventory when needed.
• Work directly with onsite customers (visitors) for any in-house pilot can approvals.
• Present printed cans and collaborate with customer on adjustments.
• Maintain Press in proper mechanical operations.
• Record daily, weekly and monthly maintenance records by keeping proper logs on file.
• Communicate necessary press maintenance in advance to production manager.
• Create Pilot standard by using color measurement hardware and software.
• Participate and advise on best practices/SOP creation or updates.
• Responsible to ensure that plant procedures are being followed.
