In our collaborative environment, Digital Pathology Assistants play a key role in supporting the pathology team by ensuring accurate and efficient handling of digital slide images and related data. You’ll work closely with laboratory staff and pathologists, gaining exposure to a wide range of cases in a high-volume setting.
Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Detail oriented.
- Legible penmanship.
- Basic computer skills, especially data.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Background in science.
- Pathology experience
- Two years laboratory experience.
Responsibilities
- Scanning slides in our digital pathology section of the Histology lab
- Knowledge of protocols for special handling of surgical specimens
- Maintaining work areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
