About The Position

The Digital Media Specialist (DMS) position at Gud Marketing, Inc. (Gud) in Lansing, Michigan, involves leading and supporting the planning, development, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This role serves as a subject matter expert in digital strategies, aiming to optimize lead generation, client nurturing, and client conversion. A key responsibility is ensuring website accessibility compliance, particularly ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance for Gud and its clients. This position permits telecommuting/remote work for up to two days per week and reports to the Implementation Manager.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Information Technology, or closely related fields, and 1 year of progressive post-master’s work experience in digital marketing, or closely related field.
  • 1 year of progressive post-master’s work experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and SEO/SEM tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Criminal Background check required.
  • Alternative Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Information Technology, or closely related fields, and 3 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience in digital marketing, or closely related field.
  • Alternative Requirements: 3 years of progressive post- baccalaureate work experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and SEO/SEM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies including SEO/SEM, email marketing, paid search, social media advertising, display advertising, and influencer partnerships.
  • Strategize and implement digital campaigns aligned with best practices in web accessibility.
  • Ensure ADA and WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) web accessibility compliance across all platforms.
  • Evaluate and enhance the user experience across websites and landing pages with a focus on accessibility for people with disabilities.
  • Lead planning and execution of integrated strategic marketing plans in collaboration with the media manager and client teams.
  • Develop, monitor, and optimize ad campaigns across all channels, including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
  • Perform A/B testing, multivariate experiments, and user journey analysis to drive optimization.
  • Manage campaign budgets and ensure proper pacing and ROI performance.
  • Provide detailed analytics reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, digital marketing trends, and evolving accessibility guidelines.
  • Conduct digital accessibility audits, provide remediation recommendations, and implement accessibility enhancements.
