About The Position

The Digital Media Manager leads the digital content ecosystem of Mercy Church with strategic oversight of digital marketing, search optimization, podcast distribution, and performance tracking through Google Analytics to measure engagement and drive data-informed growth. This role ensures that sermon content, ministry initiatives, and storytelling efforts are effectively packaged, discoverable, and strategically promoted to expand reach, deepen engagement, and advance Mercy’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or media management
  • Demonstrated experience managing podcasts or digital content platforms
  • Working knowledge of SEO tools and website analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with social media management and content workflows
  • Active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with Mercy’s mission and values
  • Accept and agree with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
  • A member of Mercy Church or willing and able to become a member.
  • Strategic thinker with strong digital marketing instincts
  • Exceptional written communication and editorial clarity
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and analytics interpretation
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a ministry environment with high execution reliability
  • Growth-minded and data-informed decision maker
  • Collaborative, proactive, and self-directed
