About The Position

Under direct supervision, the student will assist staff with various digital media editing tasks. This role involves adapting existing content for various social media platforms, adding enhancements, sourcing or creating visual assets, and managing project files. The position requires delivering weekly content batches and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
• Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
• In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
• Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
• Ability to learn and perform assigned work
• Follow oral instructions
• Work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students
• Communicate effectively with all levels
• Read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Responsibilities

• Recut existing Titan TV, Radio, and Universe content for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Add captions, effects, transitions, and overlays to optimize for each platform
• Source B-roll or design simple motion graphics to enhance content
• Deliver weekly batches of content to the Digital Content Coordinator
• Keep project files organized and shareable across departments
• Adapt podcasts, video interviews, or recorded events into platform-specific highlights
• Other duties as assigned
