About The Position

SDMyers is seeking a creative and technically skilled Digital Media Creator to join their Marketing team. This role is responsible for bringing the SDMyers brand to life through various forms of visual content, including video, photography, and motion graphics. The Digital Media Creator will manage projects from concept to completion, working both independently and collaboratively across the organization to produce content that educates, builds trust, and strengthens the brand. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with hands-on production experience and a passion for creating polished, meaningful content.

Requirements

• Strong visual storyteller who can turn technical information into engaging content
• Hands-on experience with video production, photography, and editing
• Comfortable operating cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment
• Experience with industry-standard video, motion graphics, photography, and design software
• Strong eye for composition, visual quality, sound, and detail
• Confidently work with and direct people who are on camera
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines without losing sight of the details
• Comfortable working both in a studio and out in the field
• Resourceful and able to solve production challenges as they arise
• Take initiative and can move projects forward without constant supervision
• Welcome feedback and continuously look for ways to improve your craft
• Communicate clearly and collaborate well with people across different teams

Responsibilities

• Own video projects from start to finish—including planning, filming, lighting, audio, camera setup, and production.
• Turn raw footage into polished, engaging content for web, social media, marketing campaigns, events, and other channels.
• Create and edit photography for digital, print, social media, trade shows, and other marketing needs.
• Create motion graphics, lower thirds, animated titles, intros/outros, logo animations, and simple explainer animations.
• Provide graphic design support for digital media and broader marketing projects while maintaining SDMyers’ visual standards.
• Keep footage, photography, project files, and finished media organized, archived, and easy to find and repurpose.
• Help maintain the SDMyers studio and ensure equipment, inventory, scheduling, and production spaces are ready to go.
• Work with the Marketing Content Manager and Marketing team to develop content that connects with our audiences, supports campaigns, addresses customer needs, and reflects the SDMyers brand.
• Work with subject-matter experts, internal teams, and external partners to capture the stories, expertise, and work that make SDMyers unique.
