About The Position

The Digital Media / Content Strategist is how new audiences discover that belief: through a website, inbox, and feeds that meet people where they are and move them from awareness to action. Reporting to the Chief Brand and Growth Officer, this role owns CIS's digital ecosystem as one integrated engine for awareness, engagement, and growth; thinking in channels and funnels, not siloed platforms. The Digital Media / Content Strategist will: • Own CIS's digital ecosystem: website, email, social, paid, and search, as an integrated audience-growth engine • Move new audiences from awareness to engagement to action (donate, volunteer, advocate) • Turn CIS's exceptional but under-told story into visible, discoverable content • Use analytics to show what's working across channels, not just platform by platform

  • Demonstrated experience with website optimization/SEO, email marketing, and social strategy
  • Hands-on with analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), A/B testing, and audience segmentation
  • Experience running paid digital campaigns on a limited budget
  • Strong writing and content-production skills, including short-form video
