Digital Marketing Specialist
About The Position

As we continue expanding across California and beyond, we are growing our digital marketing team with passionate, creative individuals ready to elevate our digital presence and help shape our brand’s future. We are seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to develop, manage, and execute digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer growth. This role is perfect for a proactive creator and strategist who loves social media, content production, community building, and innovative digital storytelling. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to bring our campaigns, promotions, influencer programs, and brand initiatives to life.
Requirements
- Experience in digital marketing, social media, and/or content creation
- Proven experience creating and editing short-form video content
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable being on camera
- Experience with influencer outreach and management
- Reliable transportation to travel to various store locations for shoots and events
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on content or event needs
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of compelling content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, X, and other emerging platforms
- Own the content calendar, storytelling themes, and creative asset development
- Plan, direct, and shoot content weekly, including in-restaurant video shoots, lifestyle social shots, influencer visits, and product-focused content
- Edit short-form videos optimized for engagement and platform trends
- Manage Starbird’s social channels daily, including posting, scheduling, and optimizing performance
- Engage with followers, answer questions, and strengthen our online community
- Monitor analytics and produce performance reports with insights and recommendations
- Identify, evaluate, and partner with creators who align with Starbird’s brand
- Manage communication, contracts, deliverables, and performance tracking
- Coordinate in-store creator visits, collaborations, and sponsored content
- Support paid social initiatives by assisting with asset creation, targeting inputs, and performance reviews
- Collaborate on brand campaigns, new restaurant openings, and seasonal promotions
- Support grassroots marketing initiatives and local store openings
- Assist with onsite event activation, brand sampling, and community outreach
- Capture content at events for real-time posting and future use
- Assist with website content updates, landing pages, and digital menu promotions
- Help build and schedule email marketing campaigns and guest communications
- Manage the Starbird Fundraising Program
- Oversee our Gift-a-Meal Partnership
