We are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. This role is hybrid, three days in the office and two from home. POSITION SUMMARY: Develop and execute digital marketing initiatives that advance company strategy, strengthen brand presence, and enhance customer engagement. This role manages social media channels, produces marketing collateral, supports customer sentiment and market research activities, and supports digital communications across platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business communications or a related field.
  • 1 year digital marketing experience including experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry or financial services industry preferred.
  • Working knowledge of online platforms and creating multimedia content.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
  • Demonstrates successful ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines, occasionally under rigorous demands and on accelerated schedules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates successful ability to lead and collaborate on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and digital (video) communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute social media strategies across key platforms including content creation, publishing, community engagement, and performance reporting.
  • Develop social media campaigns aligned with business goals driving engagement agencies, policyholders, and prospective employees.
  • Monitor social trends and recommend improvements to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Conduct social listening and sentiment analysis across digital channels.
  • Compile data from surveys, reviews, and engagement metrics to inform strategy.
  • Lead communication projects including the development of a communication plan based on a customer needs assessment, development of communication collateral, create designs and execute communication plans.
  • Develop graphics and layouts for presentations, sales assets, departmental logos, charitable ads, and other organizational needs.
  • Write, develop, and coordinate material for company publications including feature stories, newsletters, brochures, advertising, and various other forms as appropriate.
  • Support public relations including creating digital-ready press releases and media assets.
  • Support internal and external communications strategy with the identification, placement and maintenance of pertinent information on the Company’s internet.
  • Engage as a liaison with assigned departments to develop effective communications and content.
  • Work with internal and external customers to ensure successful representation of corporate brand through the alignment of standards and guidelines.
  • Manage printing and production of materials and collateral.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the insurance industry and Amerisure business strategy as a foundation for communication development.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of digital and dynamic design, layout, photography, video and illustration.
