About The Position

Donohoe Hospitality is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to own and execute the full digital marketing strategy across multiple portfolios of hotels and restaurants. This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for driving awareness, engagement, and revenue through a thoughtful mix of content, paid media, email marketing, website optimization, and reputation management. This position operates as a single point of ownership for digital marketing, balancing strategy with execution. The ideal candidate is both a creative marketer and a performance-driven operator who can translate business goals into measurable digital results. The ultimate goal is to elevate brand presence, increase direct bookings, and maximize ROI across all digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the digital marketing strategy across multiple DHS properties, aligning efforts with revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Identify the most effective mix of channels (social, email, paid media, web, third-party platforms) to drive performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all digital marketing initiatives across multiple properties in the portfolio.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine strategies based on performance, trends, and business needs.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, and other relevant platforms).
  • Manage budgets and allocate spend to maximize return on investment.
  • Monitor key metrics such as cost per acquisition, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance.
  • Test and iterate campaigns to continuously improve results.
  • Oversee website performance, user experience, and content accuracy across all properties.
  • Identify opportunities to increase direct bookings and reduce reliance on third-party channels.
  • Partner with internal teams or vendors to implement updates, landing pages, and SEO improvements.
  • Regularly audit hotel and third-party listings (Google, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Booking, etc.) to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Own day-to-day social media strategy and execution, including content creation, publishing, and engagement.
  • Develop and manage editorial calendars aligned with marketing goals.
  • Create and curate compelling content (photo, video, and copy) that reflects the guest experience and drives engagement.
  • Expand presence across emerging platforms while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Provide on-site content support for events, openings, and key property moments.
  • Plan and execute B2B and B2C email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage audience segmentation and contact lists to improve targeting and personalization.
  • Draft, deploy, and optimize campaigns to drive engagement and revenue.
  • Continuously evaluate performance and refine strategy based on results.
  • Monitor online reviews and ensure properties respond within established timelines.
  • Partner with property teams to address guest feedback and protect brand reputation.
  • Manage disputes and removal of fraudulent or inappropriate reviews.
  • Evaluate SEO performance and implement strategies to improve search visibility and direct traffic.
  • Track and analyze performance across all digital channels, focusing on KPIs tied to business outcomes (engagement, conversions, revenue impact).
  • Create recurring reports that highlight performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Monitor competitor activity and emerging industry trends.
  • Serve as a digital marketing resource for property teams, guiding best practices and brand standards.
  • Lead occasional training sessions to encourage content contributions and alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and external partners to support marketing initiatives.
