About The Position

As a Digital Marketing Intern at our Downtown Grand Rapids office, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies that will drive engagement and brand awareness. You will contribute to various aspects of digital marketing including social media management, content creation, email marketing, analytics tracking, and more. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity at our Grand Rapids East Beltline office.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
• Strong interest and understanding of digital marketing concepts and trends.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and content management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to content creation for social media platforms, website, and email marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and engage with our online community across various social media channels.
• Analyze marketing analytics data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas and develop compelling communication strategies.
• Assist other departments and teams as needed.
• Participate in a joint intern project and present your group’s recommendations to Independent Bank’s executive leadership team.
