About The Position

The Digital Manufacturing Systems Manager will lead the development and execution of a new facility's digital manufacturing roadmap. This includes establishing the necessary systems, infrastructure, and data architecture to support world-class powder manufacturing operations. The role involves defining and implementing the facility's IT and OT network architecture, creating a secure and scalable shop-floor LAN segregated from the corporate network while allowing controlled data exchange. The manager will serve as the technical lead for Oracle ERP implementation, ensuring seamless integration of manufacturing, inventory, maintenance, quality, purchasing, and production processes. Additionally, they will lead the selection, design, implementation, and commissioning of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for electronic batch records, production tracking, genealogy, process monitoring, quality management, and real-time visibility. The role also includes leading the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for asset management, preventive maintenance, spare parts, work orders, and equipment reliability, as well as the facility's Building Management System (BMS) for HVAC, environmental controls, utilities, clean rooms, and compressed air systems. A key aspect is developing and managing the integration strategy between ERP, MES, CMMS, BMS, SCADA, PLC, historian, laboratory, and reporting systems. The manager will drive automation and digitization by integrating sensors, instrumentation, controls, and software for real-time visibility into process performance, equipment health, production efficiency, and product quality. Collaboration with engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, IT, and leadership teams is essential for establishing digital standards, cybersecurity, data governance, and long-term technology strategies, aiming to deliver measurable business value through increased automation, improved data visibility, enhanced process control, reduced manual data handling, improved equipment reliability, and accelerated decision-making.
