About The Position
Prudent Publishing Company, Inc., established in 1929 and a leading publisher of premium quality greeting cards known as The Gallery Collection®, has the following long term seasonal opportunity at our manufacturing facility in Landing, NJ as part of our Digital Production Team. The Digital Machine Operator position is responsible for setting up and operating single-person digital printing equipment to produce customized digital/ink products while achieving acceptable production and quality levels.
Requirements
- No Experience Necessary - Paid Training
- Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and good hand and eye coordination is a must
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime hours including weekends essential
Nice To Haves
- Computer literate and background in graphic design a plus
Responsibilities
- Follow established procedures for printing our products
- Contribute to team effort by meeting or exceeding production goals
- Adhere to safety procedures while operating digital equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
