Specific tasks may involve converting images to quantitative measurements, creating machine-learning descriptors, developing AI-powered workflows, and applying large language models (LLM) and agentic approaches to scientific data analysis and knowledge extraction.

Requirements

  • Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Food Science, Chemical engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience using Python or other data descriptive languages for data analysis, model development, workflow automation, or scientific research.
  • Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret scientific data and communicate technical results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day.
  • Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program. If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior.
