We are looking to expand our team with a Digital IC Designer with experiences in the development of digital subsystems and embedded MCU/DSP for our mixed-signal products.

Requirements

  • Minimum a Bachelor degree in electrical/computer engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of direct design experience in industry pertaining to Digital IC design and development.
  • A proven track record of successful digital IC designs from concept to working products.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAD tool expertise including logic synthesis, STA, DFT/ATPG, Logic Equivalency Checking.
  • Experience with SDC constraints.
  • Experience with UPF methodology.
  • Experience in P&R.
  • Ability to automate verification and design tasks with Python or TCL.
  • Experience with simulation environment including gate level and RTL simulation, verification/code coverage, code linting would be an asset.
  • Exposure to DSP, microcontrollers and programming in C.
  • Experience with FPGA will be an asset.
  • Expertise in instrumentation and measurement methodologies would be an asset.
  • Ability to operate as digital lead designer for complex digital/mixed-signal chips would be an asset.
  • Ability to work with analog designers and to collaborate with remote cross-functional teams would be an asset.
  • Self-motivated individual, innovative, confident, thorough and team oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Physical design at block, subsystem, sub-chip, and/or full-chip levels for low power integrated circuit.
  • Support of design and verification using System Verilog/VHDL.
  • Support of feasibility of new products and the development of chip specification based on customer and marketing requirements.
  • Support of internal and external test development activities as well as pattern generation for production tests.
  • Evaluation and characterization of integrated circuits in a lab environment with preference for ability to script tests for automation.
  • Preparation of technical reviews and product documentation.
