As we continue to expand our operations, we're seeking a talented Digital Graphic Designer & Metal Fabrication Artist to join our dynamic team. As a Digital Graphic Designer & Metal Fabrication Artist at L&L Metal Fabrication, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing our clients' visions to life. Combining your creative prowess with technical skills, you'll be responsible for designing captivating logos, eye-catching metal signs, and innovative industrial components. Your expertise in digital design software and hands-on experience with metal fabrication tools will be instrumental in shaping our products' aesthetics and functionality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a digital graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing logo design, signage, and industrial graphics.
- Proficiency in design software such as SolidWorks, Photoshop, and CorelDraw.
- Hands-on experience with metal fabrication tools and equipment, including plasma cutters, waterjet machines, and laser engravers.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional quality in all aspects of design and fabrication.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in the field of digital design and metal fabrication.
- Vision standards apply
- Coordinate the use of eyes, hands, and feet
- Lift and carry heavy objects 5-25 pounds frequently, 25-50 pounds often, 50-100 pounds occasionally
- Use arms, hands, and legs fully
- Push, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create unique logos, signage, and industrial designs that align with client specifications and brand identities.
- Utilize software such as SolidWorks, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw to develop digital renderings and prototypes.
- Translate digital designs into physical products using metal fabrication techniques, including plasma cutting, waterjet machining, and laser engraving.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality control throughout the fabrication process.
- Actively participate in design reviews, providing insights and suggestions for improving product designs and manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance your skills and capabilities.
