We are looking to add a Digital Graphic Designer to our NYC Creative Team. The Designer role will work on one of our major accounts as well as contribute to a variety of creative projects for a wide range of clients including beauty, sports, news, pharma, and more. The Designer role works closely with the Senior Designer and Art Director while collaborating with both the content agency and production studio teams to help bring ideas to life.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a design role
  • Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating brand-building creativity through design and execution
  • Skills in visual design, website design, branding and typography
  • Understanding and ability to exercise design fundamentals
  • Experience working in leading software packages such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience/interest in digital, print and video
  • Organized with attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for design, advertising, and digital technology
  • Ability to work well on quick turnarounds and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and act on feedback
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Film, Media, Communications, related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and support the team in the creation of print, digital and video executions
  • Design of presentations and visual assets for presentation
  • Take ownership of projects whether starting from beginning, middle or end of the creative process and finishing it with smooth, seamless delivery.
  • Manage more junior team members or external vendors such as freelancers assisting the team
  • Embrace a multidisciplinary approach to design, visual storytelling, and methods of delivery.
  • Develop visual identity packages, campaign look and feels and work on pitch presentations through extensive roll out of production design – from ideation to execution.
  • Work in partnership with other team members to understand and manage client needs.
  • Pitch creative and campaign ideas and assist in creating brand looks and feels
  • Mentor and provide daily guidance for junior designers
  • Understand project requirements and concepts, and produce final design solutions (such as brand guidelines, logos, icons, infographics, imagery, web design, and overall campaign design)
  • Collaborate with team members to design a variety of visual assets to support the team and launch campaigns
