About The Position

The Digital Graphic Design Intern will support and learn from the digital team of the Washington Wizards (NBA). This is an in-person position for current students or recent graduates looking for hands-on digital design experience in the sports industry.

Requirements

Current undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate.
Applicants must be willing to relocate to Washington D.C.
In-depth experience with Photoshop.
A portfolio of previous digital design work to showcase experience and creativity.
Knowledgeable about NBA players and teams.
Strong organizational skills; ability to balance and prioritize several projects at once.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Additional Adobe Creative suite experience a plus.
Experience in digital graphic design for a team, brand, or company is a plus.
Experience in college or professional sports is helpful.

Responsibilities

Assist in the ideation, planning, and creation of engaging social media graphics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are creative, useful, and align with technical and brand standards.
Collaborate with traditional designers, video productions team, and digital departments.
Monitor social media trends to identify new content opportunities.
Use the latest software and applications to design and develop digital solutions.
