Digital Forensics Examiners and Digital Forensics Analysts serve as the in-house experts on digital forensics topics for The Legal Aid Society. Their primary responsibilities include preserving, creating, and analyzing digital evidence in a forensically sound manner, as well as preparing reports for court proceedings and providing expert testimony in hearings and trials. They are also tasked with explaining digital forensics concepts to other Society staff through discussions and formal trainings. Maintaining applicable certifications and continuously updating their knowledge and skills in response to technological changes are essential aspects of the role.
