About The Position

As an On-Call Digital Finishing Operator, you will support our Digital Press team by assisting with and operating finishing equipment to ensure high-quality printed materials are produced efficiently and accurately. This role plays an important part in delivering ministry resources that impact people around the world.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Basic computer skills for routine data entry, reporting, and communication.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
• A mature Christian faith and passion for global Bible engagement and discipleship.
• Commitment to the ministry's mission, values, and statement of faith.
• A life consistent with biblical principles and ongoing spiritual growth.
• Appreciation for serving within a global, multicultural ministry environment.

• Previous manufacturing, printing, or production experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine loading, labeling, packaging, palletizing, and restocking supplies to maintain production workflow.
• Operate and assist with finishing equipment, including cutters, folders, stitching equipment, and cover-finishing machinery.
• Follow job tickets and detailed instructions for finishing, packaging, and shipping requirements.
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards with a strong attention to detail.
• Support routine equipment cleaning, upkeep, and minor maintenance.
• Move materials throughout the production area to support efficient operations.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and other departments.
• Maintain safe work practices while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Adapt to changing production needs and learn new processes as required.
