About The Position

Grand Canyon University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction in Digital Film Production at its Phoenix campus for the Spring 2027 semester. This course delves into the concepts of digital film production, covering preproduction, production, and postproduction. Students will apply their learning by creating a video project that assists a church or faith-based ministry in achieving its mission.

Requirements

  • MA or MFA in Cinema/Video Production or related field OR BA in communications related field and 5 years of industry experience in media production or editing.
  • Attach unofficial transcript for any applicable conferred graduate or undergraduate degrees.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
  • Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
  • Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
