About The Position

The Consultant, Digital Experience & AI Strategy is a hybrid practitioner and growth driver operating across O3's core digital experience consulting practice and O3XO's AI advisory capabilities. This role is designed for someone who can sit comfortably at a client's table as a strategic peer, equally credible advising on digital transformation, content and commerce platforms, and organizational change as they are guiding AI strategy, use case prioritization, and adoption. Approximately 50% of this role is billable, with the remaining time dedicated to business development, account growth, and internal practice contribution. This person is a trusted advisor who believes in relationships and revenue growth. This role operates at the intersection of O3 and O3XO, driving engagements and providing perspective on where digital experience and AI intersect, and helping O3 accounts grow in both depth and revenue over time.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of consulting experience in digital experience, marketing technology, or a related discipline, with meaningful exposure to AI strategy or implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements end-to-end — from discovery through recommendation and roadmap delivery
  • Genuine fluency in both enterprise DX platforms (CMS, DXP, commerce, personalization) and the evolving AI landscape (generative AI, AI-enabled workflows)
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills — able to hold the room and earn trust at the senior stakeholder level
  • A revenue mindset: you understand how consulting engagements are scoped, priced, and grown, and you take ownership of that
  • Collaborative and low-ego — you know when to lead and when to bring in the right specialist
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where frameworks are still being built and ambiguity is the norm

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and strategic planning sessions across digital experience and AI workstreams
  • Assess client maturity across DX and AI dimensions and develop prioritized roadmaps aligned to measurable business outcomes
  • Translate ambiguous client challenges into clearly scoped opportunities with defined ROI, resource requirements, and delivery approaches
  • Advise on platform selection, vendor evaluation, and build-vs-buy decisions across CMS, DXP, commerce, personalization, and AI tooling
  • Guide clients through AI use case identification, governance considerations, and change management in a way that connects to their broader digital strategy
  • Deliver executive-ready presentations and recommendations to senior stakeholders and C-suite audiences
  • Maintain trusted advisor relationships with active clients through consistent engagement beyond formal project deliverables
  • Conduct AI maturity assessments and develop actionable AI roadmaps grounded in client-specific business context
  • Define AI use cases with sufficient detail to move into design and implementation — including success metrics, data requirements, and integration considerations
  • Support clients through AI pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives, providing strategic oversight and translating results into next steps
  • Advise on AI governance, ethics, responsible use, and organizational readiness in practical, non-theoretical terms
  • Collaborate with O3XO specialists to bring the right depth to AI engagements, connecting strategy to technical execution
  • Stay current on AI tools, platforms, frameworks, and regulatory developments relevant to O3's client verticals
  • Own account growth activity on a defined portfolio of O3 clients, proactively identifying expansion opportunities within active engagements
  • Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and pitch presentations, supporting broader DX pursuits
  • Develop forward-looking account strategies for key relationships, maintaining a view of what's next for each client and how O3 can be part of it
  • Build relationships with prospective clients through thought leadership, referrals, and consultative outreach
  • Collaborate with client services and delivery leads to surface upsell and cross-sell opportunities before they go to RFP
  • Support pricing and scoping decisions that reflect the value delivered and position O3 competitively
  • Contribute to the development of O3's DX consulting methodologies and O3XO's AI delivery frameworks
  • Provide feedback and guidance to junior consultants on deliverables, client communication, and consulting craft
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing, training, and capability-building initiatives
  • Model a standard of quality, intellectual curiosity, and client-centricity that elevates the broader team
  • Contribute to O3's external publishing agenda through articles, social content, case studies, and point-of-view pieces on DX and AI topics
  • Represent O3 at industry events, panels, and webinars in a way that builds credibility in target markets
  • Develop perspectives on emerging trends that are grounded in client work and useful to buyers — not just practitioners
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure thought leadership content supports pipeline and brand goals
