About The Position

The Radar Digital Products department designs digital electronic circuit cards, electronic assemblies, FPGAs and radar processing systems. This role involves collaborating with engineers to design digital electronic circuits, FPGAs, and radar processing systems that implement digital signal processing, communications, control, and/or radar processing designs. The technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous/heterogeneous multiprocessor designs. The applicant will work in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional project teams on larger programs or internal research and development efforts. Managers oversee approximately 20 employees, focusing on performance, career development, and task assignment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
Experience or knowledge of VHDL, Verilog and/or circuit design
Experience or knowledge of Matlab and/or C programming
Experience or knowledge of circuit analysis
U.S. citizenship is required
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard.
Experience with digital signal processing
Experience with SPICE tools
Experience with CAD tools such as Xpedition, Allegro or OrCAD

Responsibilities

Partnering with a senior team member to design digital hardware supporting radar systems
Support hardware validation testing of digital hardware
Support integrating digital hardware into radar systems
