About The Position

Human Agency is seeking a sharp Digital Designer for a contractor role to produce high-quality work for social graphics, pitch decks, and web design. This role requires a builder-first mindset, accountability, and curiosity. The designer will be responsible for creating clean, intentional, and credible visual assets for clients, including executives, founders, and mission-driven organizations. Requirements

1–3+ years of professional digital design experience within motion and graphic design, with a portfolio that proves it.
Proficient in Figma.
Comfortable in Canva and Capcut for templated social work.
Familiar with at least one website platform such as Webflow, Squarespace, or WordPress.
Demonstrable experience designing social media graphics that performed well.
Solid deck design skills, including layout and styling of information.
Working knowledge of typography, color, and layout fundamentals.
Actively uses AI tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, or similar) as part of a real design workflow.
Able to manage own time, interpret a brief, and deliver clean files without constant supervision.
Takes feedback without drama and improves quickly.
Can context-switch between client brands and maintain fidelity to each one.
Honest about capacity and deadlines; communicates early to avoid surprises.
Sees AI as a creative accelerant, not a threat or a shortcut.
Cares about the quality of shipped work.

Responsibilities

Create digital and print graphics for social media, advertising, and internal initiatives.
Edit short-form video content for social media and paid advertising.
Resize, format, and adapt creative assets for different platforms and placements.
Design on-brand, scroll-stopping social media assets for platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram with fast turnaround and consistent quality.
Execute light web design and page updates on platforms such as Webflow, Squarespace, or similar, understanding layout, hierarchy, and conversion principles.
Transform rough content into polished, presentation-ready decks that communicate clearly.
Work within existing brand systems and adapt them faithfully; make smart decisions and document them when guidelines don't exist.
Keep files organized, exportable, and ready for handoff.
