About The Position

Syntiant Corp., is a leader in the high-growth AI software and semiconductor solutions space. We are seeking a lead Digital Design Engineer who will be designing the digital systems and building blocks for MEMS microphones. Together with the analog/mixed-signal designers, test development engineers and other team members, you will be developing high-performance, low-power ASICs from concept to high-volume production

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree in electronic engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of proven track record in developing digital blocks/systems for high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits in a consumer or industrial R&D environment.
  • Good understanding of the entire digital design flow and DFT.
  • Hands-on experience in designing low-power digital circuits.
  • Solid knowledge in EDA tools such as Cadence (Conformal, Genus, Tempus etc.)
  • Structured and methodological approach.
  • Strong team player.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with sigma delta ADCs or audio signal processing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Work out the digital architecture and design specification in collaboration with the project team.
  • Perform RTL design & synthesis and supervise RTL-to-GDS.
  • Work out the digital verification plan.
  • Verify the digital system and blocks in collaboration with the digital verification engineer.
  • Develop low-power audio signal processing architectures.
