About The Position

Cricut is seeking a Digital Content Production Artist to support the production of new content library models. This is a new category for the company, and the role involves getting artist models into the library, ensuring their compatibility with Cricut software and machines, and maintaining quality standards as production scales. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling unfamiliar challenges, developing repeatable processes, and taking ownership of their work. The role requires close collaboration with the software team, QA lead, and content/product partners, emphasizing clear communication and production skills to keep projects moving and unblock team members.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work.
• A keen design eye to distinguish between technically functional and user-appealing assets.
• Scrappy and self-directed approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable owning a process end-to-end, including tracking, documentation, and follow-through.
• Ability to drive work forward with individuals not directly reporting to you and ensure completion.
• Actively uses AI tools in their work and is eager to find more automation opportunities.
• Comfortable learning new tools and adapting to a frequently changing environment.
• Collaborative, team-first working style.
• Experience with tracking tools such as Airtable, Workfront, or Jira.
• Solid troubleshooting mindset.
• Clear, professional communication, particularly in written updates and bug reports.
• Interest in consumer creativity, crafting, or design.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CAD design tools (Fusion 360, Blender, SolidWorks, Rhino, ZBrush, or similar).
• Cricut familiarity.
• Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day production work, managing models through the pipeline and identifying areas needing attention.
• Partner with the software team for model ingestion and ensure file compatibility with Cricut software and machines.
• Collaborate with the QA lead to review models, verify correct processing, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Assist in defining and documenting quality standards for this new content type.
• Maintain current and accurate tracking systems for model status within the pipeline.
• Support taxonomy for content types to enhance organization and searchability.
• Build and document repeatable processes, and improve them to scale production volume.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate repetitive production tasks and identify opportunities for automation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate issues with tools or workflows, escalating to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Support testing for new features or machine launches as assigned.
• Submit clear bug reports and requests to improve internal tools and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to facilitate team scaling.
