About The Position

The Fig Digital Content Manager is an integral member of the Fig Industries team who will cultivate creativity and community engagement by being a collaborative and enthusiastic team player. This self-motivated and dynamic individual is responsible for the management, innovation, and growth of Fig Magazine’s online presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or other related field
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience in managing multiple professional social media accounts
  • Willingness to be a strong representation of the brand
  • Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, TikTok, and LinkedIn as well as social media trends and best practices
  • Experience in working with social media data and analytics; demonstrated ability to translate metrics into actionable insights
  • Strong knowledge of the Fig Magazine product and passion for local community

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Wrike, WordPress, and Mailchimp preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead content creator and copywriter for Fig Magazine’s online presence
  • Produce engaging creative content (both phone-quality photography and videography) for use across digital platforms
  • Craft clear, engaging, and on-brand copy across social media, emails, and website articles
  • Edit and refine content written by clients to ensure consistency in brand voice and standards
  • Collaborate and ideate with the Fig Magazine team on upcoming issues, digital campaigns, and special projects
  • Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy across Fig Lancaster and Fig Franchise social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Manage content calendars, posting rhythms, and analytics tracking
  • Creatively transform print ad content and campaigns into engaging social media posts
  • Collaborate with Fig Managing Director to execute paid digital packages for partners while maintaining Fig brand and voice
  • Attend Fig photoshoot to capture behind-the-scenes content
  • Foster online community-building and monitor all channels for comments, questions, and direct messages
  • Compile monthly and annual analytics reports with thoughtful insights and strategy recommendations
  • Curate community events for figlancaster.com event calendar and monthly roundups
  • Serve as day-to-day owner Fig Lancaster website, ensuring homepage is up to date and other event submissions are approved
  • Craft and optimize reader-friendly articles for discoverability, accessibility, and performance
  • Produce weekly email newsletter, sales emails, and magazine launch emails in collaboration with Fig Managing Director
  • Regularly attend community events for networking and social media coverage, such as city-wide events, First Fridays, Fig Lancaster launch parties, client events, new business ribbon cuttings (includes some evenings and weekends)
  • Regularly visit local small businesses and organizations for added coverage and brand representation
