The New Mexico Forest and Watershed Restoration Institute seeks a collaborative and creative Digital Content and Outreach Specialist to join its diverse team of ecological restoration professionals. They will be responsible for providing in-person and media-based outreach, including websites and social media, to our communities and partners. The ideal candidate would: · Showcase their talent for developing and maintaining web content in service of a community passionate about the conservation and restoration of our New Mexico forests and watersheds. · Have excellent communication and outreach skills, with a strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and science communication. · Enjoy getting out of the office to meet with and present our products to a variety of partners and community members. · Creatively apply their technical skills and knowledge to current and emerging projects that support and promote healthy forests, resilient landscapes, and thriving communities. · Have strong organizational skills and enjoy working independently and as part of a team. Once hired, our Digital Content and Outreach Specialist will work with a dedicated team engaged in and excited about education, ecological monitoring, and collaborative conservation and restoration.
