About The Position

Digital Communications Strategists manage content publishing and operation of SRP's owned marketing/communications vehicles and platforms in support of SRP's strategic directions and corporate objectives. They own the email and direct mail strategy for SRP's residential and business customers and manage high-volume email/mail programs, automated email journeys, personalized/dynamic email/mail campaigns, A/B testing and email database maintenance. As members of the web team, Digital Marketing Strategists also support content strategy and publishing on SRP's websites.

Requirements

  • In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 4 years may be considered. (Level 1 - Associate)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 6 years may be considered. (Level 2 - Journey)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 9 years may be considered. (Level 3 - Senior)
  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Currently, SRP does not sponsor H1B visas, OPT, or other employment-related visa's.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree relevant to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Employ deep expertise and in-depth understanding of owned marketing vehicles and platform management within specific platforms of responsibility (website, email and direct mail) as well as provide direction to achieve continuous improvement and development in cross-channel communications and marketing.
  • Govern communications at a vehicle level, balancing vehicle capacity and “real estate management” with a data-informed approach to contact frequency, storytelling and audience targeting.
  • Participate in tactical planning sessions, setting the high-level tactical strategy for email, direct mail and web.
  • Establish editorial calendars and messaging strategies while collaborating with content strategists to ensure holistic views across all owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Work with UX designers, copywriters and creative team to create engaging experiences via email, direct mail and online.
  • Architect and build automated customer journeys.
  • Build, QA and deploy email campaigns in our email platforms, Adobe Campaign Standard and ClickDimensions.
  • Manage, monitor and adjust content proactively and in real-time based on A/B test results, learning, sentiment, changes in context and other factors.
  • Ensure channel-specific compliance and accessibility.
  • Participate in larger cross-functional projects to further evolve our platforms and technology.
  • Make web content updates as required.
