About The Position

The Digital Communications & Content Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of Vantive’s corporate digital channels across external and internal audiences, including corporate websites, social media platforms, and internal communications channels. This position brings Vantive’s digital communications strategy to life by delivering high-quality, audience-focused content and ensuring consistent, on-brand experiences across channels. Working within a clearly defined strategic framework and in close partnership with the Associate Director, this is a hands-on opportunity for a digital communicator with strong editorial judgment and operational discipline. The role requires the ability to manage channels, content, workflows, and stakeholders effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment, while ensuring reliable, well-coordinated delivery and supporting the function’s continued growth as strategy, tools, and capabilities evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, PR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–8 years of experience in digital or corporate communications with hands-on responsibility managing digital channels.
  • Experience working across external and internal channels (e.g., websites, social media, intranet), ideally in regulated environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams with strong editorial judgment and autonomy within an established operating framework.
  • Adaptability, problem-solving mindset, and comfort working in a growing and an evolving function within clear strategic direction and leadership support.
  • Flexibility to support priority communications, including occasional off-hours needs for planned or time‑sensitive moments, rather than as a regular expectation.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools such as Sprout Social, Airtable/Monday.com, Copilot, Canva, SharePoint, and Viva Engage (experience with similar tools welcome). Tool‑specific experience is less important than strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day activities across corporate digital channels, ensuring content is accurate, timely, compliant, and aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Oversee community management and social listening, including monitoring conversations, responding as appropriate, escalating issues, and supporting brand health.
  • Coordinate responses to digital/social issues in line with communications, legal, and risk protocols.
  • Manage publishing workflows with strong quality control, autonomy, and accountability.
  • Partner with the Associate Director to translate strategy into consistent execution.
  • Maintain the corporate editorial calendar in coordination with Communications, Executive Communications Global Communications functions, regional teams, and stakeholders.
  • Support content development, writing, editing, and brand voice consistency.
  • Ensure editorial planning is predictable, well-sequenced and aligned with business priorities and milestones.
  • Support external and internal social media governance, policies, and guidelines to enable confident, responsible use of channels.
  • Provide guidance and training to promote consistent and compliant digital practices.
  • Manage Legal, Medical, Regulatory (LMR) review processes for timely approvals.
  • Act as a resource on digital standards, balancing governance with practicality.
  • Manage digital communications projects end-to-end across vendors, agencies, and teams.
  • Support intake and prioritization of digital requests by clarifying scope, sequencing work against capacity, and surfacing risks or tradeoffs as needed.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear execution plans and drive collaboration.
  • Monitor channel performance, engagement, and brand health to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Share insights to refine content mix, cadence, and channel strategy as measurement practices mature.
