About The Position

The Digital Communications and Technology Specialist manages all technology platforms, digital systems, and communications infrastructure that support OLLI at DU’s programs and member services. This position combines database management, website administration, digital communications, and technical support. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Digital Communications and Technology Specialist oversees the Campus CE registration platform, OLLI websites, Zoom systems, email marketing, and all digital course communications. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create user-friendly resources for members and facilitators. This is a part-time, benefited position at 28 hours per week (75% FTE).

Requirements

  • Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365), advanced email systems, database systems, registration platforms (Campus CE), customer relationship management software, experience management platforms (Qualtrics), and website content management systems
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Constant Contact or similar) and mass communication tools
  • Proficiency with Zoom administration, including meeting setup, troubleshooting, and user support
  • Graphic design skills with proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage large volumes of data accurately
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
  • Ability to create clear, user-friendly training materials and documentation for non-technical users
  • Excellent written communication skills for newsletters, email communications, and member correspondence
  • Self-directed work style with ability to manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and technical support to members and facilitators
  • Associate degree or equivalent training and experience in technology, information systems, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience managing databases, registration systems, or website administration
  • Demonstrated experience with email marketing platforms and digital communications
  • Experience with graphic design tools and creating digital marketing materials
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with reliable internet access and appropriate workspace

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, communications, information systems, or related field
  • Experience with Campus CE or similar continuing education registration platforms
  • Experience creating training materials, webinars, or instructional videos
  • Experience in nonprofit, education, or membership-based organizations
