About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking interns to join its Hardware teams and contribute to projects with a measurable impact on the business. The 12-week, full-time internship offers students hands-on experience with NVIDIA hardware and the opportunity to work on digital circuit design. Applicants should be pursuing a relevant degree and remain actively enrolled at a university for the full duration of the internship. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and opportunities may vary by role.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled at a university for the full duration of the internship.
  • Must be pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Anticipated graduation month and year must be clearly indicated on the resume or CV.
  • Course or internship experience related to digital circuit design, device fundamentals, place-and-route design tools, datapath tiling techniques, or SPICE simulations may be required, depending on the role.
  • Course or internship experience related to CMOS logic design, transistor-level circuits, timing and delay analysis, standard cell design and libraries, SRAM and array design, power and leakage optimization, simulation, or characterization may be required, depending on the role.
  • Experience with flip-flops, level shifters, math cells, register files, or similar designs may be required, depending on the role.
  • Experience with automation methods, algorithms, power distribution, or power-management circuits and solutions may be required, depending on the role.
  • Course or internship experience related to circuit design, advanced digital systems, operating systems, object-oriented programming, or EDA tools may be required, depending on the role.

Nice To Haves

  • Depending on the role, prior experience or knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, Perl, Python, SPICE/HSPICE, Monte Carlo methods, CMOS, FinFET, EDA tools such as Synopsys or Cadence, or SerDes.

Responsibilities
