Intern. Digital Business Process Analyst
About The Position
The Business AI Process Analyst will support the optimization of supply chain business processes to improve overall organization performance using tech or non-tech operational improvements. The department focuses on developing and implementing operational excellence strategies that will modernize the Supply Chain organization of the future by improving communication, data synergy, and streamlining processes for automation. The position will be fully remote, with occasional travel to the office as needed. In-person outings will be organized for the intern students during the term, and attendance is encouraged. The position available is an 4-month intern placement.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program or equivalent experience in business, commerce, operations, mathematics, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to deconstruct complex processes
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and critical‑thinking capabilities
- Clear, proactive communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
- Ability to create process documentation and workflow diagrams
- Self‑directed learner with strong organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio
- Familiarity with supply chain or procurement operations
- Interest in AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
Responsibilities
- Analyze end‑to‑end supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Evaluate processes for suitability for AI enablement and automation use cases
- Research market‑ready AI and digital tools applicable to procurement and supply chain operations
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather requirements and define process improvements
- Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and supporting documentation
- Assist with planning and executing operational excellence initiatives
- Support the implementation and deployment of process improvement solutions
- Develop internal controls and management reporting to track initiative effectiveness
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure process outcomes
