About The Position

As a Miami - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. This role offers you the chance to observe and contribute to the success of our client support initiatives, enhancing your understanding of digital assurance within our Assurance practice. As an Intern, you will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research, while observing professional work environments and learning about developing your personal brand. In this role at PwC, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. You are encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients and contributes to our team’s success. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

Responsibilities

  • Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
  • Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting and compliance
  • Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance the accuracy and reliability of assessments
  • Engaging in basic research and data analysis to contribute to audit projects
  • Participating in the evaluation of internal controls and governance frameworks
  • Collaborating with team members to understand and apply compliance and governance standards
  • Developing a foundational understanding of cloud engineering and its application in audit processes
  • Applying active listening skills to effectively communicate and understand project requirements
  • Accepting feedback constructively to improve performance and contribute to team success
  • Demonstrating enthusiasm and a learning mindset to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
