About The Position
The Digital Asset Librarian Intern will learn about the asset lifecycle and to help manage the post-production process. The intern will have hands on experience applying proper metadata and keywords to assets for searchability within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. The intern will communicate with end users for library search services, new user set ups and general help tickets. This internship is a good fit for a student who is looking to learn more about production, data management, and digital asset management.
Requirements
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Experience with Photo, Video or Design Workflows.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel).
Nice To Haves
- Preferred majors include: Film, Video Production, Photo Production, Graphic Design, Library and Information Services, or similar.
- Experience with Photo and/or Video Production. This includes photo/video editing, post-production experience, digital marketing experience.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in managing the asset lifecycle from upload to sunset.
- Applying proper keywords and metadata to digital assets
- Maintaining the organization of Universal’s digital asset management system.
- Providing library search services to our system users.
- Performing other duties as assigned
