About The Position

Compass Connections is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join their team at their facility in Harlingen, Texas. This organization offers emergency shelter and group home placement for children while working to reunite them with their families. Requirements

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.

  • Four (4) plus years of related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

  • Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training and team decisions as needed.
  • Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the child and program operations.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally by phone or face-to-face with agency staff, vendors, community members and regulatory and contract staff.
  • Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing and/or contract requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations.
  • Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, clients, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
  • Maintain a comprehensive digital archiving system and be able to locate and retrieve information from files as directed.
  • Receives, tracks, and responds to high volume inquiries and requests for stored records from internal and external agencies in a timely manner.
  • Processes raw images using the appropriate software.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation or training in accordance with agency policies and procedures and contract and regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.
