About The Position

This program is designed to develop the next generation of Digital & Technology leaders at West. Participants will gain hands-on experience across enterprise platforms, manufacturing technologies, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and analytics while working on real business challenges that support life-saving healthcare products used around the world. As a Graduate Trainee in D&T, you will take part in structured learning and on-the-job training to build strong technical and professional skills. You’ll participate in a structured rotational program across key technology domains including ERP systems, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Data & Analytics. The role offers exposure to live projects, modern tools, and AI-driven technologies, giving you the chance to learn from experienced mentors and build the foundation for a successful career in Digital & Technology, with exposure to enterprise platforms, software engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, manufacturing technologies, and data & analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Analytics, or related technical discipline.
  • 0-1 years of related work experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.
  • Awareness of generative AI, machine learning concepts, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP), enterprise applications, or business process workflows.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as network security, identity management, encryption, and risk management.
  • Awareness of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and infrastructure fundamentals.
  • Understanding data analytics concepts, visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), or scripting for data analysis.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and willingness to work across multiple technology disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, enterprise technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured rotational program across key technology domains including ERP systems, digital manufacturing, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity, and Data & Analytics.
  • Develop an understanding of core business processes across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial functions.
  • Contribute to the development of modern enterprise applications across web, mobile, and cloud platforms.
  • Assist in ERP system configuration, reporting, integration support, and issue resolution activities.
  • Participate in digital manufacturing initiatives, including manufacturing execution systems (MES), industrial connectivity, IoT, and operational technology solutions supporting West's global manufacturing network.
  • Explore and apply AI-assisted tools and technologies to improve software development, analytics, automation, and business processes.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments, access controls, security monitoring, and compliance documentation.
  • Support infrastructure operations including cloud services, server environments, network support, automation, and performance monitoring.
  • Assist in data analytics initiatives including data extraction, transformation, visualization, dashboard development, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to understand system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, system testing, documentation, and change management processes following IT governance standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution or escalation as appropriate.
  • Adhere to West’s security, quality, compliance, and regulatory standards in all system development and operational activities.
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve enterprise systems and processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
