The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess the ability to communicate compellingly with both creative and executive audiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on digital advertising experience at a top-tier global brand, holding a major agency account, or at a high-caliber media agency managing significant media budgets and cross-channel campaigns
  • Proven expertise across the full paid media landscape, including hands-on experience with social/influencer advertising, programmatic display/RTB, search marketing (SEM), connected TV (CTV) and OTT platforms, digital out-of-home (DOOH), radio, and broadcast television
  • Functional knowledge of ad trafficking, media operations, and campaign measurement—including GTM tag management, custom conversion tracking, pixel implementation, and KPI reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize relationships with advertising agencies and platform partners, assess capabilities, negotiate terms, and ensure accountability on pacing and performance
  • Strong data analysis and storytelling skills—ability to extract meaningful insights from large datasets and translate them into compelling presentations and recommendations for executive audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex advertising concepts to non-technical stakeholders and mentor team members
  • Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity, troubleshoot ad errors, and course-correct campaigns in real time

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience in entertainment, sports, live events, or ticketing industries
  • Proficiency with AI and modern large language models (particularly Claude) to streamline analysis, generate insights, and accelerate presentation development
  • Certification or advanced training in Google Analytics, Google Ads, YouTube, or equivalent platforms
  • Exposure to marketing measurement frameworks such as marketing mix modeling (MMM) or multi-touch attribution
  • Experience with CRM platforms, audience segmentation and first-party data retargeting strategies

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee integrated digital advertising strategies across the full marketing funnel—from upper-funnel awareness tactics (social, influencer, programmatic display, DOOH, broadcast TV) through mid-funnel engagement channels (social, CTV/OTT) to lower-funnel performance marketing (search, performance social).
  • Leverage deep expertise in entertainment, sports, live events, or ticketing landscape to identify innovative opportunities and emerging channels that align with audience behaviors and campaign objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for advertising and media agency relationships.
  • Assess partner capabilities and delegate campaigns strategically; monitor media pacing, spend velocity, and delivery against established KPIs; provide optimization recommendations and negotiated added value to maximize ROI.
  • Maintain strong working relationships across multiple agencies while driving accountability and ensuring alignment with internal goals and timelines.
  • Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in ad trafficking operations, including UTM management, GTM (Google Tag Manager) configuration, custom conversion setup, and pixel implementation.
  • Design measurement frameworks and attribution models; ensure proper tagging protocols across all campaigns; and troubleshoot discrepancies between reporting systems and advertiser platforms.
  • Stay current on evolving privacy regulations (iOS updates, cookie deprecation) and adapt measurement strategies accordingly.
  • Synthesize complex, multi-source datasets into clear, compelling narratives that drive decision-making.
  • Create executive-ready decks, digestible performance summaries, and actionable takeaways that translate raw data into strategic recommendations.
  • Present findings to C-suite leadership and cross-functional teams; distill nuanced insights for varied audience sophistication levels.
  • Demonstrate expertise in advanced analytics tools and modern AI platforms (such as Claude) to accelerate analysis and presentation development.
  • Proactively monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and errors in ad serving, reporting, and attribution across platforms and agencies.
  • Navigate complex troubleshooting scenarios by collaborating with internal teams and external partners to implement corrective actions quickly and maintain campaign momentum.
  • Communicate advertising strategy, results, and recommendations clearly and persuasively across all organizational levels—from frontline team members to the C-suite.
  • Mentor and delegate tasks to junior team members; manage up by setting clear expectations and proactively addressing leadership concerns.
  • Serve as the trusted expert on paid media topics and emerging industry trends.
