The Digital Accessibility Specialist, Senior serves as a centralized resource supporting University schools and administrative units in meeting digital accessibility requirements and standards across web, document, multimedia, and digital content platforms. This position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing structured accessibility remediation efforts across units, establishing consistent workflows and expectations, providing training and guidance, and serving as a primary point of contact for accessibility-related questions and issue resolution. The role helps ensure a coordinated and sustainable institutional approach to digital accessibility compliance and continuous improvement. The position works collaboratively with stakeholders across the University to provide guidance, track progress, clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and support implementation efforts related to accessibility standards, policies, and best practices. In limited high-risk or complex situations, the individual may also assist directly with accessibility evaluation and remediation activities.
