About The Position

This position is responsible for the digest production operation and will unload and wash all reefers, weigh dry ingredients and raw product and mix according to customer specs while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered.
Minimum 6 month waiting period from previous Tyson employment.
Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
Must pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment.
Must have mechanical/maintenance skills listed in work history or skills section of application.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

Responsibilities

Unload and wash all reefers.
Weigh dry ingredients and raw product.
Mix according to customer specifications.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure.
Obtain certification and operate a forklift or skid-steer loader.
Use basic hand tools.
Perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
Read and understand policies, procedures and regulations.
Document information.
Communicate with others written and verbally.
