About The Position

Our Dig Crew Plumbing Lead is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing plumbing issues, managing the dig crew, and addressing customer concerns on site. A Dig Crew Plumbing Lead will complete approved repairs in a timely manner, have a clean and orderly work area, collect payment, and complete paperwork. Potential of $100k plus.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in the residential service plumbing industry
• Ability to work independently
• 3 years of experience excavating especially around buried utilities and other hazards
• The ability to communicate written and orally to the customers
• Technical know-how - to use email, invoice software, etc.
• Ability to work a shifted schedule
• Takes great pride in going the extra mile for our customers
• Strong customer service skills (active listening, relationship building, etc.)
• Ability to use own plumbing tools (Basic trade related hand tools)
• Good physical condition
• Reliable Transportation
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing issues
• Managing the dig crew
• Addressing customer concerns on site
• Completing approved repairs in a timely manner
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Collecting payment
• Completing paperwork
• Assisting with excavation around utilities (public or private)
• Assisting with laying and gluing joints on piping
• Assisting with wall penetrations
• Backfilling with shovels, rakes, and pneumatic tamper
• Applying weather proofing to wall penetrations
• Bringing and getting materials for the job
• Managing a crew and completing projects in a safe and timely manner
