About The Position
Nutrition that Works, LLC is currently seeking a consultant dietitian to join our team! We have an exciting opportunity in an outpatient facility in Hickory, NC for 2-3 days per week. Requirements
- Credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- North Carolina Licensure
- Strong communication skills and a client-centered mindset
- Positive, professional attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized outpatient nutrition counseling for patients
- Develop and implement nutrition care plans based on medical needs and preferences
- Respond to nutrition consults from medical and nursing staff as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Monitor and document patients’ progress, including nutrition assessments, goals, and follow-up plans using the clinic’s electronic medical record system
- Maintaining confidentiality and patient information in accordance with HIPAA
