About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a PRN Dietitian at Alton Memorial in Alton, Illinois. The position is in an acute care setting and provides Medical Nutrition Therapy and education to help improve patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. The hourly pay range is $30–$40, with CEUs listed as other compensation. The Dietitian performs nutritional assessments, develops individualized care plans, and provides nutrition and lifestyle guidance to patients, families, staff, and the community. The role applies current research in accordance with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols; contributes to QAPI initiatives; partners with food service management to support patient satisfaction and service goals; and may educate and train staff and dietetic interns. The role offers access to RDN career advancement programs, free CEUs through a nutrition education webinar series, and ongoing education, development, and advancement opportunities. Healthcare experience is preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible to take the CDR exam.
- Licensed Dietitian, or willing to obtain licensure, in the state of practice as applicable.
